Russia sets wheat export duty at 3,729.2 rbl/tn for Aug 30–Sep 5
MOSCOW, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- Russia’s wheat export duty will decrease to 3,729.2 rubles per tonne from 4,269.9 rubles, the barley duty will fall to 431.8 rubles from 860.3 rubles, and the corn duty will dip to 1,931.5 rubles from 2,495.2 rubles from August 30 through September 5, as seen by PRIME in the Agriculture Ministry’s materials on Friday.
The duty is calculated basing on the indicative prices of U.S. $237.6 per tonne of wheat, $175.5 per tonne of barley, and $198.3 per tonne of corn.
Since June 2021, Russia has been using a flexible system of grain duty calculation. In July 2022, the duty’s calculation was shifted to rubles.
